Frequently Asked Questions

  • How old do I need to be to get a vehicle?

    You will need to be 25+ years old, however, younger drivers can be referred and are subject to an additional premium if they meet the rest of criteria.

  • Can I still hire even if I have points on my licence?

    You can hire a car if you have 6 or less points. If you are over 6 points you can be referred and are subject to an additional premium subject to meeting the rest of criteria.

  • How long do I need to have held a driving Licence for?

    You need to have held your driving licence for a minimum of 3 years. 

  • How long do I need to have held a PCO Licence for?

    You can rent a car as soon as you have obtained your PCO licence, there is no minimum period.

  • Is insurance included?

    Fully Comprehensive insurance is provided with all of our hire. If you prefer, you can provide your own insurance subject to it meeting our criteria.

  • Are food and parcel deliveries included in the insurance?

    Yes, all food and parcel deliveries are covered as standard.

  • What to do in an event of an accident?

    If you are in accident, please take as many pictures of the accident and location as you are able to, ensure you exchange details with the third party and never discuss any liability whilst at the scene. You must report all accidents to us within 24 hours of them happening.

  • Can I hire a car if I have an accident History?

    You can hire a car with a maximum of 1 fault claim allowed in the last 3 years, this is for insurance purposes.

  • What is the excess?

    A maximum of up to £1000 excess is payable for fault and split liability accidents and/or damage cause to vehicles will be charged at cost trade price. 

    £0 Excess for non-fault accidents, as long as we can recover our costs from the third party.

  • Do you include servicing?

    All maintenance is included in your weekly rental, all our vehicles are serviced every 10,000 miles.

  • Do you take care of punctures?

    In the event of a puncture, you will be liable.

  • What if the windscreen is damaged?

    You are liable for any windscreen damage.

  • Is there a deposit?

    We hold a £300-£500 Deposit dependent on vehicle.

  • What if I am issued a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)?

    We don’t charge admin fees for penalty charge notices.

  • Are there mileage restrictions?

    No, we offer a fully unlimited mileage allowance.

  • Do your vehicles have CCTV?

    Yes, all our vehicles are fitted with forward facing dash cameras. We can fit internal CCTV cameras at your request, for your own peace of mind, and all of our CCTV cameras are TFL approved.

  • Do you include breakdown cover?

    Yes, all our vehicles come with 24-hour nationwide breakdown cover.

  • Can I hire for driving abroad?

    Unfortunately, our vehicles are not permitted to travel abroad.

  • Is there a minimum contract?

    There is a 4-week minimum contract.

  • Which operators can I use the vehicle with?

    You can use the vehicle with any operator who is registered with Transport for London.
